Thomas J. Webster’s (H index: 128) degrees are in chemical engineering from the University of Pittsburgh (B.S., 1995; USA) and in biomedical engineering from RPI (Ph.D., 2000; USA). He has formed over a dozen companies who have numerous FDA approved medical products currently improving human health in over 30,000 patients. His technology is also being used in commercial products to improve sustainability and renewable energy. He is currently helping those companies and serves as a professor at Brown University, Saveetha University, Hebei University of Technology, UFPI, and others. Dr. Webster has numerous awards including: 2020, World Top 2% Scientist by Citations (PLOS); 2020, SCOPUS Highly Cited Research (Top 1% Materials Science and Mixed Fields); 2021, Clarivate Top 0.1% Most Influential Researchers (Pharmacology and Toxicology); 2022, Best Materials Science Scientist by Citations (Research.com); and is a fellow of over 8 societies. He was recently nominated for the Nobel Prize in Chemistry. Prof. Webster also recently formed a fund to support Nigerian student research opportunities in the U.S.

Prof. Oleg L. Figovsky is the founder, Director R&D of International Nanotechnology Research Centre “Polymate” where he is carrying now many research works in nanostructured corrosion resistant composite materials and protective coatings based on polymer and silicate matrix. In 1982 he elaborated the first nanostructured anticorrosion composite materials based LG-matrix, where nanoparticles are forming during technological process by hydrolysis of TFS. Last his elaborations are nanostructured nonisocyanate polyurethanes, nanocellulose and nanocomposites based on epoxy-rubber binders. Novel nanotechnologies invented by prof. Figovsky were a base for establishing a few of industrial production in USA, Canada, China, Russia and Israel. He is also the President of IAI (Israel), member of EuropeanAcademy of Sciences, Foreign Members of two RussianAcademies of Sciences (REA & RAACS), the chairman of the UNESCO chair “Green Chemistry”. For few of his inventions in nanotechnologies he received gold and silver medals at the IENA-98 (Nurnberg, Germany).

Dr Yuvaraja Visagathilagar has over 27+ years of extensive expertise and experience in academia, research, and industry. He graduated with Bachelor of Engineering in Communication Engineering and Doctorate in Engineering (with a highly prestigious scholarship from the Australian Government) in 1996 and 2003 respectively from RMIT University, Melbourne Australia. His dissertation was in “Narrow-band Optical Modulator on Lithium Niobate” for telecommunication applications but it can be applied for other transceivers applications. In research and industry, he has contributed to over 40+ peer-reviewed international journals and conference pubications. He has visited and presented at universities in USA (i.e. UCLA and UCSD), Peregrine Semiconductor Corporation and in Japan (i.e. Science and technology Organisation).He has collaborated with Defence Science Technology Organisation (now DSTG) in Australia where he has contributed in the design, fabrication, packaging and testing of “High-Speed Lithium Niobate Optical Modulator” including documentation of processes for quality certification (ISO 9001) and flip-chip packaging of narrow-band optical modulators on Lithium Niobate and Ceramic materials. He has extensive academic teaching as a lecturer and post-doctorate research fellow in Photonics, Fibre Optics & System, RF System, and Integration where he was involved in research of novel design of narrowband optical modulators. In early years, his research has been in Narrow-band Lithium Niobate Modulators but also in finding a solution for packaging of optoelectronic devices (i.e. ceramic and Silicon materials). During the collaboration, he worked with sub-contractors in system integration and packaging of the modulator devices in hermetically sealed packages for defence applications. In 2006, he joined “Future Fibre Technologies Ltd” who are the global leading organisation in optical sensing technologies and has extensive experience over 9 years in optical sensing. He was a senior manager and held positions as Senior Fibre Systems Engineer, R&D Team Leader and Applications Engineering Manager where he contributed in the company products enhancements and novel products design. He has contributed to 2 patent solutions for novel systems in optical fibre sensing and contributed to over 110+ reports with fellow colleagues and R&D teams (not published due to commercial-in-confidence). From July 2016 to March 2018, he was a Senior Academic at RMIT University for postgraduate and undergraduate courses in Electrical Engineering Analysis using Matlab, Electronic Engineering, Radar technologies, Communication systems, Optical/Photonic Engineering, Microwave Circuits & System and Advanced Mathematics for various program levels (or years). He contributed to the development teaching materials of a core course in Optical Fibre Systems and Networks for Bachelor and Master’s Program including supervising for over 10+ projects in undergraduate and postgraduate students with a minor thesis. He has a distinguished professional engineering career, he is an active Senior Member of the IEEE for over 28+ years’ service where he is the Chair of the Victorian IEEE Electron Devices & Photonics Society Joint Chapter and representative in the Section Committee, Australia from 2017 He is a active member of IEEE where he is a key volunteer for the Senior Member Elevation reference in Victoria, Australia (or globally), Member of OSA, SPIE, AP-MTT, AIP, AOS, BCS and certified in PRINCE2® & system engineering. Geoffrey Mitchell is a researcher of both the Centre for Rapid and Sustainable Product Development (CDRSP) at the Polytechnic Institute Leiria and the Institute for Sustainability and Innovation in Structural Engineering (ISISE) of Coimbra University both in Portugal. Geoffrey Mitchell carried out his doctoral work at the University of Cambridge in the UK and subsequently held post-doctoral fellowships at the University of Cambridge and at Hokkaido University in Japan. He is the Chief Scientist of Visionary Equation lda, a startup hi-tech company located in Marinha Grande, Portugal. Prior to his current affiliations he was Professor of Polymer Physics at the University of Reading, UK and the founding Director of the Centre for Advanced Microscopy at Reading. His research work bridges physics, biology, chemistry and technology and he is a Fellow of both the Institute of Physics and the Royal Society of Chemistry as well as the Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce and a Member of the Institute for Physics and Engineering of Medicine. He is a Visiting Medical Physicist at the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Oxford UK and Emeritus Professor of the University of Reading. Geoffrey Mitchell is passionate about direct digital manufacturing (DDM) which enables products to be manufactured directly from a digital design without the need for specialist tooling or moulds and the development of novel materials to support these emerging technologies. He is fascinated by the opportunities that arise from merging electrospinning in to the family of DDM technologies. He brings a wealth of experience working with polymer based materials both natural and synthetic. He is particularly interested in the scales of structure present in all materials and especially biopolymers. He has developed and made extensive use of x-ray and neutron scattering methods coupled to computational molecular modelling and electron microscopy techniques. He is a member of the editorial boards of a number of international journals, He is the editor of a book “Controlling the Morphology of Polymers Multiple Scales ” published by Springer in 2016 and a book “Electrospinning: principles, practice and possibilities” published by the Royal Society of Chemistry in 2015.

Dr. Ping Ren is an assistant professor in the Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering Department at Kettering University, where she has served since 2023. She earned her Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from North Carolina State University and holds a B.S. in Automation Engineering from Northeastern University in China. Dr. Ren’s research expertise spans micro/nano fabrication, printed electronics, 4D printing of shape memory materials, and structural design. In her teaching, she emphasizes advanced manufacturing technologies and is dedicated to introducing additive manufacturing in assistive technology. This innovative approach fosters inclusivity and equips students with practical problem-solving skills relevant to modern engineering challenges.

"My first half of life was focused on gaining the skills to build a car, a house, and computers...with a background in problem solving and computer electronics. Health issues led me to metaphysical studies and practices, for 6 yrs. Dr. Ashish Kumar is a postdoctoral researcher at Keio University, Japan, specializing in ultra-precision machining, fluid jet polishing, and material characterization. He earned his Ph.D. in Manufacturing Engineering from IIT Patna, where his research focused on cutting tool development and in-situ metal cutting mechanics. His innovative work on rotating tip cutting tools (RTC-tool) has contributed significantly to advancements in machining efficiency and surface integrity. Dr. Kumar has published in high-impact journals, including the International Journal of Machine Tools and Manufacture (IJMTM), and holds multiple patents in cutting tool technology. He has extensive experience in computational modeling (FEA, MD simulations), microstructural analysis, and experimental techniques such as high-speed imaging, nanoindentation, and interferometry. In addition to his doctoral research, Dr. Kumar was actively involved in the design and manufacturing of ATV and F1 vehicles during his bachelor’s studies at BIT Sindri. This project allowed him to develop expertise in automotive design, CNC machining, material selection, and structural optimization. Beyond research, Dr. Kumar has actively contributed to teaching and mentorship, having supervised multiple undergraduate and master's students. Tiruwork Girma Hailu completed her MSc in Materials Science and Engineering from the Jimma Institute of Technology, Jimma University, and her BSc in the same field from Adama Science and Technology University. Since 2022, she has been serving as a lecturer in the Materials Science and Engineering department at Jimma Institute of Technology, Jimma University, Ethiopia. Prior to her academic role, Tiruwork held key positions as a Senior Laboratory Assistant (since 2017) and as Chief Laboratory Assistant (since 2020). In addition to her teaching responsibilities, she has contributed extensively to curriculum development, laboratory manual preparation, and student advisement. She has also played a pivotal role in several academic initiatives, serving as a coordinator for the Reform Program, Community-Based Education, Internship Program, Academic Quality Improvement, and Assessment and Examination activities within the faculty.
