Prof. Blaz Likozar, is a head of the Department of Catalysis and Chemical Reaction Engineering at the National Institute of Chemistry (NIC), leading the programme “Chemical Reaction Engineering”, as well as numerous research projects (15 H2020 / 50 in Horizon Europe alone). His expertise lies (among others) in heterogeneous catalysis materials, modelling, simulation and optimization of process fluid mechanics, transport phenomena and chemical kinetics. He worked at the University of Delaware in 2014–2015 as a Fulbright Program researcher. He has authored >400 articles, was cited >10000 times, having a h-index of 61. He is also involved in many industrial projects, amongst others, with TotalEnergies, Evonik Industries, UPM, Novartis, Carbon Recycling International. He is a recipient of Pregl and Zois awards.

He authorized the books Computer-Aided Analysis of Active Circuits (New York: Marcel Dekker, 1990) and Power Electronics and Energy Conversion Systems, Volume 1: Fundamentals and Hard-switching Converters (Wiley, 2013). His main research interests are switching-capacitor converters and inverters, large dc gain converters, soft-switching converters.He published over 200 papers in IEEE Transactions and conferences

Prof. Dai-Yeun Jeong is presently the Director of Asia Climate Change Education Center and an emeritus prof. of environmental sociology at Jeju National University in South Korea. He received BA and MA degree in sociology from Korea University (South Korea), and PhD in environmental sociology from University of Queensland (Australia). He was a prof. of environmental sociology at Jeju National University (South Korea) from 1981 to 2012. His past major professional activities include a teaching professor at University of Sheffield in UK, the president of Asia-Pacific Sociological Association, a delegate of South Korean Government to UNFCCC and OECD environmental meeting, and a member of Presidential Commission on Sustainable Development Republic of Korea, etc. He has published 60 environment-related research papers in domestic and international journals and 13 books including Environmental Sociology. Dr. Vikas Khare is an Associate Dean, School of Technology, Management and Engineering, NMIMS, INDORE, INDIA. Vikas Khare completed his Postdoctoral research in 2023. Prior to that, he earned his PhD from the National Institute of Technology Bhopal in 2016, M. Tech (Honors) in Energy Management from the School of Energy and Environment and Research at DAVV Indore. He also holds an MBA in Information Technology and Management from NGASCE NMIMS Mumbai and a B.E. in Electrical Engineering from Government Engineering College Sagar. Dr. Khare done Advanced Certification in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras. He is a certified energy manager under the Bureau of Energy Efficiency India and a Fellow Member of the Scholars Academic and Scientific Society, India. His research interests primarily revolve around renewable energy systems, data analysis, artificial intelligence, optimization techniques, game theory, and Big Data. Dr. Khare has authored 12 books, including 6 published by Elsevier in the USA, 1 by Walnut Publication, and 4 by Dhanpat Rai Publication. Notably, his book titled "Tidal Energy System: Design, Optimization, and Control" served as the basis for designing an M.Tech course in the energy department at IIT Jodhpur. Additionally, Dr. Khare has contributed 15 book chapters and published 42 (24 SCI/ABDC) papers in Scopus-indexed international journals, along with presenting 10 papers in international conferences, garnering a Google citation count of over 2050. He has served as a keynote speaker in various Faculty Development Programs (FDP) and international and national conferences. Furthermore, Dr. Khare serves as a reviewer for esteemed journals such as the International Journal of Renewable and Sustainable Energy (Elsevier), Journal of Energy (Elsevier), and International Journal of Sustainable Energy (Taylor and Francis). Recognized for his contributions, Dr. Khare has received several awards, including the Best Faculty award at STME, NMIMS Indore in 2022, the Best Faculty award at Medicaps University in 2016, and the Best Paper award at an Elsevier-affiliated international conference in 2024.

Dr. Muhammad Shafiq is an Associate Professor in the School of Computer Science at Shandong Xiehe University, Jinan, China. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science & Technology from Chongqing University of Posts & Telecommunications, China. Dr. Shafiq's research intersects machine learning with a growing focus on power systems, renewable energy, and smart grids. His work applies artificial intelligence and deep learning to optimize energy infrastructure, improve energy efficiency, and contribute to sustainable energy solutions. He has published over 52 research articles and is a recognized expert in AI-driven technologies for both energy systems and healthcare applications. Dr. Shafiq’s research also addresses software requirements engineering and its role in developing intelligent energy solutions. Gerardo Moreno was born in San Juan, Argentina, in May 1987. He received the degree in Electrical Engineering from the Universidad Nacional de San Juan (UNSJ), Argentina, in 2011. He is currently Ph.D. candidate from Instituto de Energía Eléctrica (IEE), UNSJ-CONICET.

As the principal investigator at Sabancı University's Nanotechnology Research & Application Center, my focus lies in steering advanced research and developing innovative solutions in the realms of nanotechnology, circular economy, and high-density storage devices. My tenure has been characterized by collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to push the boundaries of applied science, resulting in practical advancements in environmental sustainability and technological innovation. Previously, as an assistant professor, I enriched the academic landscape by developing and teaching courses in nanotechnology and environmental chemistry, guiding over 30 research projects to successful completion. Chang Su is currently a Doctoral researcher at the University of Oxford, specializing in social mobility, political sociology, and pro-social behavior. She holds an M.Phil. from the University of Cambridge, where she achieved a 4.0 GPA and conducted research in creativity, performance, leadership, and organizational behavior. She also completed an M.Sc. at Nanyang Technological University with a perfect GPA (1st out of 200), focusing on innovation, consumer behavior, and data-driven research. Chang previously studied at UC Berkeley as an exchange scholar and earned her Bachelor of Arts from Harbin Institute of Technology with a perfect GPA. Dr. P. Theodorou, originating from Constantinople, raised in Thessaloniki and working in Athens and London, has embarked on a multifaceted professional journey. With over three decades of experience, Dr. Theodorou's Professional career began in 1990, encompassing significant roles at corporations like Computer Logic (SingularLogic), Astron/PEP, and Smith & Nephew. He served on the Board of Directors of BFM and later joined PPC (DEH) in a key role within the Strategy & Planning Directorate. His tenure included overseeing fuel procurement for PPC, with notable achievements such as sourcing LNG fuel in July 2010. Dr. Theodorou's expertise extends internationally, collaborating with consulting firms like Cooper Lybrand, Boston Consulting Group, and McKinsey. Academically, he has contributed to institutions such as Athens University of Economics and Business and Aristotle University, specializing in management and decision science.
